Mukesh Thumar, CEO & Managing Director of Paramatrix Technologies, has recently returned from a thrilling and productive meeting in Tokyo, Japan on behalf of the Indian Merchants Chamber, where 25 members of the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce graciously welcomed Thumar and were anxious to listen to his ideas for ways the two countries can build and grow their unusual international relationship.
This positive meeting was followed by a press conference, where it was clear that the Japanese press recognized India’s position as an IT superpower across the globe and treated their guests with the utmost respect. The group then met with Andrew Larson of Innosoft at his Tokyo office, for more discussions about how India and Japan can further work together.
120 Yokohama citizens turned out for the next day’s venue, hosted by the deputy mayor of Yokohama, who bragged that Yokohama was more advanced than neighboring communities because they had already established their IT partnership with India.
The third day of this trip, Thumar spoke to 40 individuals at the American Chamber of Commerce, and then moved on to meeting 100 people at Andrew Larson’s book signing, where it was obvious to all present that India and Japan had already established an excellent relationship to catapult both countries far into the future of advanced IT.
On the last day, Thumar traveled to Osaka, where once again 100 people were waiting to listen to Thumar speak about the future of the IT industry and India’s relationship with Japan in particular. Of these 100 people, 4 one-on-one meetings took place, each company being supplied with a personal interpreter.
Thumar stated, “Despite warnings from many of my colleagues that this trip to Japan was bound to fail, we received an overwhelmingly positive response from the Japanese business community. My heart filled with pride when I recognized that Japan truly has a great deal of respect for what India has achieved globally in technology. It was obvious to me that Japan has truly ‘warmed up’ to the idea of working with India, and we look forward to future relationships with this technology-hungry country.”
